I have seen purple coralline go pink kinda like coral bleaching. But there are so many different types of coralline i wouldn't be surprised if there was a pink variety

Nice! I love the look of grafted corals and I want to try and create my own as well! This Pic is of my first attempt with a sunburst and a flower pedal monti cap. They looked really bad for a while and as you can see some of the tissue on the sunburst died but now their colors are back and they are growing. No sign of grafting yet, but at least they survived. Personally I think 50% is fine and probably more effective as long as you have the salinity and temp dialed in to your tank water to minimize the shock of the change. I think probably the most effective method is to do 3-4 consecutive 33% water changes. According to the chart that would get you around 80% new water in to your system. That is also right about when the diminishing returns kick in you would have to do another 6 33% changes to get that extra 20%. Not really worth it. This all becomes progressively more difficult with larger water volumes. So I personally think 50G and under you can realistically maintain levels with water changes and very minimal dosing. However past 50G I think you are much better off focusing on dosing and using waterchanges (at least 3 consecutive for bigger issues) as a corrective measure
