Well getting close gotta drill this tank and finish plumbing. Grab front face and side panels tomorrow. Have to make 3 magnetic cabinet doors that will be completely removable with side panels being removable as well. Stoked for this one but pushing to the point of fatigue. Anyone wanna come help a brotha out once things are close to finish it up. Also, looking for some live rock from multiple systems to rolling start this build with coral and fish day one.

Time for a break and maybe get some sleep.
Final countdown here we goooooo.
Finally at the phase where the fun begins. Plumbing time and cord management.
Well in the final stages. One last paint. Seal it with poly urethane and plumbing this will be running by the end of the week with fish and some coral.
First coat of paint and sealer on the base. Gonna fill all the holes gaps and cracks then I'll run a second coat over it and then hit it with some poly urethane and she will be ready for plumbing.
It's going to have removable panels for the front and sides that will be magnetic. This will give me full access to the interior of the stand for maintenance. Excited for this build. Finally taking shape and starting to look like I envisioned.
Might have to have @Polyp_J_Fry help me out on some stuff to get it rolling. I'm dying over here lmao hahaha
Progress made got the base cut and the trim on up next is paint and glue the overflow and return. Mount lights and boom ready for water.
Silicone is set. Turned out very well. Got the mat under the tank and the back glass painted up. Return lines all secure just needs pvc glued up. Wave makers in place. Waiting for paint to dry and will mount overflow box and start gluing over flow run.
-Sine wave dc's WHO-8000's one on over flow side, One on back glass each push 2100 gph
-Return pump is a Jebao 8000 pushing 2100gph running from 1in at base and pushing through a 1/2in reducer at the bulk head.
-Bubble magus curve 5 for skimmer
-Dual Popbloom 54w lights that is very well rated for depth pushing 500par at surface when hung 8in and 300 at 6in below surface.
-Inkbird wifi heater controller running 2x 200w AquaEl heaters
All in all very happy with this build so far and getting dam close to water. Leak test showed no tank leaks after drill and reseal.
Well silicone is setting and I couldn't be happier. Things went well despite breaking the return panel when drilling. Got a new panel glass and drilled on the glass drill. Love that thing. See the other thread drill baby drill for the sequence and video. Word of advice go really slow and have a steady hand duh 🙄 lmao. Well I got a 7 day cure time. Used ASI aquarium sealant black to match the rest of the tank. Here she is so far. Trim the top. Set bottom wood panel under sump, and paint she will be ready in no time!!!!
Have some 1/2in RFGS coming from the sponsor Rhinos Reef and a couple sick skulls to accent everything. Until the next post KEEP ON REEFIN ON!!!!
