What's everyone's opinion on the best working super glue or other means of holding frags in place. I know there's multiple techniques, so I guess separate it between 1.) it's time to empty the frag rack onto the rockwork so opening a one time use package isn't a waste. 2.) I've got a frag or 2 and just want a good simple solution.

Agree with Steve the puddy is messy and I use only if mounting to a really bumpy area otherwise I go super glue marble and swirl like Polyp J. I buy the super glue gel from 1$ store in bulk when they have it and have had no adverse effects but I also have brs glue on hand and even go the route of gorilla glue gel every once in awhile.
I use bsi ic-gel, it works good for me , I find the trick I like is to put a good dab on the frag plug after I cut off the nib on the bottom, then I press the frag onto the rock surface and swirl the plug or coral around in a half inch or so area so the glue has a chance to break through the membrane that formed when it hit the water , then I hold in place for like 5 to 10 seconds and viola it seems to stay attached well , maybe a little sag if the power head hits it but usually stays where I put it
I would go the route Steve has mentioned. I have found the gorilla glue gel does not hold over longevity of time. The loctite would be a great replacement option. I like to cover the plug on the bottom by creating little peaks or spikes by dabbing the frag bottom. Than splash water over glue to form a film so once pressed on rock it squishes out like a glue bomb behind it.
I like BRS glue because it comes in huge bottles. If you don't need a large quantity of it just get loctite extra thick gel. The most effective method I have heard of is the aquarium puddy, super glue sandwich. But I'm too lazy for that and I hate using aquarium puddy so I just use obscene amounts of super glue
